ISAPP

The ISAPP research program is a unique research program on smart wells and smart fields. Its main objective is the development of workflows to improve hydrocarbon production and reservoir management. The 1st ISAPP program started in 2005, whereas the 2nd program (ISAPP-2) is running since 2011.

Parties involved

The ISAPP-2 program is a joint effort of research organizations TNO and Delft University of Technology with industrial partners ENI, Statoil and Petrobras. Pre-competitive research is conducted, mainly via PhD projects
at the TU Delft, and tool development and application of workflows to field cases is done by TNO in close collaboration with the industrial partners.
